Zhaoqin Zeng holds a MBA from Nankai University. He established Shandong Tianye Real Estate Development Ltd in 1997 and appointed as Chairman and General Manager in Shandong Tianye Real Estate Development Ltd. In November 2006, he started what could be seen as the diversity development of Shandong Tianye Group. His entrepreneurial spirit has never been halted, as he strives for positive development, which has sustained him in the construction of property distribution. Through domestic and international companies, he has also ventured into real estate, mining, energy and financial industries.
Zhaoqin Zeng believes that “by being a poor person, you mind your own business; but being a rich person, gives you the personal ability to help everyone else in the world”. Therefore, he has participated in various works that have had a positive impact on the general public. He also holds positions in numerous social groups, such as the Shandong Youth Federation, Jinan Association of Industry and Commerce, Jinan High-tech Zone Association of Industry and Commerce, and the Shandong Province Privately Operated Association. He received the Shandong Outstanding Economic Person of 2005 award and the Qilu (also known as Shandong) Real Estate Top Ten Outstanding Person of 2006/2007 award. Shandong Tianye Group is developing into an international enterprise with steady transformation and continuous growth.
Xingmin (Max) Ji
BA, MBA – Chairman / Director
Max Ji possesses over 20 years of experience in the finance and investment fields. He has worked in China, Hong Kong, USA, Singapore and Australia.
Previously, Max was the CEO of Shandong Luxin International Economic Co., a subsidiary of Shandong International Trust and Investment Co. He has been involved in equity investment for more than 20 companies, including a public company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. He has been a Director and Chairman for many companies, including joint ventures in Hong Kong, USA, Russia and Australia.
Max has a proven track record for successful investment and was awarded the Outstanding Capital Man Award in Shandong Province in 2004. Also, whilst holding an interest in the Qingdao Underwater World, the project was awarded the “Best Investment and Profit” by the China Investment Association. He was also a partner in China for DAC (a large mutual fund in the USA), specialising in the acquisition and management of distressed assets in China.
Max arrived in Australia in 2008 representing Shandong Tianye Group and then went on to become the CEO of Shandong Tianye Australia Group. From 2011 to 2014, he was the CEO and Director of Minjar Gold Pty Ltd. During this time, Minjar commenced gold production and he was integral in the sale of Minjar Gold to Shandong Tyan Home (600807), a Shanghai-listed organisation.
Max is currently the Chairman and Director for Minjar Gold Pty Ltd, with a particular focus on company strategy and business development. He recently led the acquisition of the Pajingo gold project from Evolution Mining as well as the recapitalisation of Triton Minerals Ltd, an ASX-listed company (ASX:TON), where he is also the Chairman.
Guanghui (Michael) Ji
Chief Executive Officer / Director
Michael graduated from North China Electric Power University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Management. Michael has worked for various large mining companies throughout China and Mongolia. He has been involved in production management and international mining resource development in the gold and non-ferrous metal mining and processing sector and has significant technology and management abilities.
Michael commenced his career Shandong Gold Group in China in 1994 where is worked for 11 years. During this time Michael worked in a variety of role including process engineer within technical management and cooperate management, Mill Superintendent, Mill Manager, Management and Planning Department Manager, Development and Strategy Department Manager. In 2005 Michael joined Xianglong (Mongolia) Company as Deputy General Manager of Operations and led a team to build up Chabu Lead and Zinc Mine.
In 2008, Michael joined in Tianye Group as a Deputy General Manager of Tianye Mining Pty Ltd, later becoming General Manager. He was appointed Deputy CEO in 2009 when Tianye Group bought Minjar Gold in Australia. Michael was promoted to the positon of CEO in 2014. During the last 6 years at Minjar Gold Michael has been instrumental in expanding the business through exploration, feasibility study, commissioning and re-commencing production in July 2013.
Today, Michael is the Chief Executive Officer and Director for Minjar Gold Pty Ltd.
