The Pajingo Operation has produced more than 3.4 million ounces since 1996 and is forecast to produce over 80,000oz per annum at present.
The Pajingo gold operation is located in North Queensland, approximately 50kms south of Charters Towers which is 134km south-west of Townsville. This deposit was discovered by Battle Mountain Gold Company in 1983 and the first gold production commenced in 1986 from open pit mines.
Since its initial discovery, there were various ownership changes of Pajingo. Most recently, Minjar Gold acquired the Pajingo operation from Evolution Mining in August 2016.
